Welcome Terrible Two's

Welcome terrible TWOs!

This October, we celebrated Grey's 2nd birthday... my how time flies!  Since he is absolutely obsessed with animals, Parker called up his old stomping grounds at the Sandy Creek Nature Center in Athens and we celebrated with a few critters and friends.  As if he knew what was expected of him, when things would get frustrating for him in subsequent days and weeks, the tantrums had a new dramatic flare they had been missing before.  However, while his ability to react appropriately to life lessons escapes him, he is otherwise a most fantastic human being and I thoroughly enjoy him. He speaks more and more clearly each day and his reactions to the things that bring him joy are fantastic.  "Oh Wow!" are some of his favorite words.  I appreciate his enthusiasm.  He is a scholar of animals and the sounds they make.  I mean how many 2 year olds that you know can distinguish between a cheetah, leopard, and lynx?  or a Yak, a Cow or a Buffalo?  Well, he is pretty brilliant in my book ;-)
